12^th Annual Community Awards Dinner & Presentation

Eligibility Rules

The awards are for the 2009 calendar year.
Nominees and nominators do not have to be members of the Chamber of Commerce.
Awards are limited to businesses that operate and individuals who reside within the Municipality of Meaford.
A business or individual may be nominated for more than one award.
Nominations must include the information requested and be submitted prior to the published deadline in order to be considered.
Meaford & District Chamber of Commerce is not obliged to present awards for each category.
Nominations must be received by Friday, March 5, 2010

Most Improved Business Award

Presented to an existing business that has significantly expanded its operation and/or improved or enhanced the business premises making the community more attractive.

Presented to a volunteer organization or service club for exceptional effort over the past year that has enhanced the quality of life within our community.

The Peter Francis Memorial Award

Presented to an individual who has demonstrated exemplary volunteer leadership over many years and who has made a significant contribution to community development in the Municipality of Meaford. This individual must exhibit strong leadership through example. This is a lifetime achievement award. (Note: this award will not necessarily be awarded each year).
